I found this old sticker with my exact height from 2019. And spent the whole day debugging my Arch install as the network wasn’t networking

Today, I (accidentally) made a virus. First, I finally got my macropad soldered for #onboard, yay! Then, I decided to test it out using some hastily written code that was partially copied from the internet. (Foreshadowing: Nothing I try ever works the first time.) When I tried it on my computer, it started inputing a bunch of random characters and did really weird stuff, like opening the shut down dialog and running a bunch of keyboard shortcuts, even when I wasn't pressing down on any of the keys. Guess I'll be debugging code tomorrow!

Greetings,:beatsaber: fellow Hackers, Hack Clubbers & hardware wizards! It's Day 12 of WHW #hardware-party, and I come bearing exciting news from our winter wonderland drone project. After weeks of hard work, late nights, and endless cups of hot water (Did not have cocoa:sadge:), we've finally done it! Our drone is complete!!!:aussieparrot: The drone has very cool attachments & features like a high-resolution camera and advanced sensors that can detect changes in temperature, humidity, and air pressure. It's highly adaptable and can fly in humid, fog, and terrain which is difficult to traverse! Along the road, we faced our fair share of difficulties, from debugging code to testing flight stability while being ill, but I overcame them all with the help of my trusty hot water and team spirit. It was all worthwhile in the end. We have developed a drone that is not only useful but also a tonne of fun. In the end, I would like to T:hackclub-slack:ANK @HackClubBank-U04SEGJ8WN5 for funding this project and @MelanieSmith for overseeing it, and @TanishqUpmanu-U04F0RWGARH for helping me so much! Now, let's raise a cup of hot water (cocoa for the rich people☕) to this fantastic journey of building a drone project and celebrating its end. This will be my last WHW post and #drone series. Thank you all for supporting! I'll see you all tomorrow! Bye, Goodnight! PS : Gonna get into all the #44-74 stuff going around! Gotta solve those mysteries YK!

Winter Hardware Wonderland Day 10 #hardware-party THE. FINAL. DAY. Wow! Winter Hardware Wonderland is over. Time really flies, doesn't it? Great job to all you focused ones! To those who did not finish: don't worry, we can keep going! And to those who did, you can keep UPGRADING! For my project, A.L.F.R.E.D., he is not quite finished yet. I'm getting closer! I'm in the middle of programming the line tracking feature so A.L.F.R.E.D. can move around the house with snacks. I am currently debugging some errors. The board and chassis setup I am using has speed and directional pins used to control the appropriate functions in the wheels/tracks. M1 is the right track, and M2 is the left track, so "directionPinM1, HIGH" states that the right track is moving forward. While "analogWrite(speedPinM1, rightSpeed);" states we can set the speed of M1 when we're using it later, or just pre-define it. Thank you to those who helped organize Winter Hardware Wonderland!

Day 3 of Winter Hardware Wonderland :winter-hardware-wonderland:, building Project Oreo, a custom USB rubber ducky: I got some sick renders of the case (Inventor Ray Tracing). Hopefully the prototype print tomorrow is successful, then I can send it to @KaiZheng-U049N5Y0WM9 🤞 On the software side, I have the core code (capture the first 10 setup packets and make a python function to receive them). It just doesn't work 😦. TODO Debug

with winter wonderland soon approaching, I've begun printing components for the CNC machine! in other news, I've progressed in terms of research for #sheepy-racing-league and have mostly done some basic html for debugging my diplomacy game. I'm just going to be working on animation tonight, may do some more thorough research into electronic design for the car and remote tomorrow.

Second day working on my Sprig text adventure. Got most of the main body text implemented. Just need to fill out the rest of the text, and add item usage flags to certain areas. (The pink numbers are debug, the UI wont be that cluttered :)

day 1 of #10-days-in-public! After hearing so much about CS50, I procrastinated for a long time to complete the course but never really did it. Recently, i had to move to a place where i don't have good internet and I saw this as a perfect opportunity to complete the course. Today I completed 2 and half lectures and 1 lab. Lecture 0: I always heard from my childhood that computer only understands Binary language i.e. 0s and 1s and it sounded reasonable to me for low level stuffs but I always wondered about how 0s and 1s helps me watch a video and it never really made sense to me until i completed this lecture. I got to learn about ASCII, Unicode, RGB and so many new things that cleared a lot of my questions. Lecture 1: I learnt about how to properly write code with correctness, better design and style. I got introduced to CS50's own cloud IDE and many other tools and finally started with learning C. First lecture went really well and i loved the things i learnt. Had some small issue with understanding Loops (not really in understanding the concept but in understanding the meaning of code while writing it ... I'd love to talk about it with someone if you'd like to help me understand it better) Lecture 2: I got to know how a compiler actually compiles a code and what goes underneath the hood which we literally ignore by Compiling and Running. Got to know about some clever method to debug my own code. And, finally got stuck in understanding Arrays. If there's someone who'd like to help me understand Array please come forward. I hope to resume my journey from tomorrow and thankyou all. pic: a random screenshot from lab assignment

Today I debugged a jest testing in web book publishing tool. It turned out there was a marginal problem, but I have chosen wrong path to find the bug it at first, which let me to lose few hours. Next time solving similar unknown issue 1) I want to be more strategic about it, recall the need for metacognition and planning of the debugging process, 2) do short write-up of how it went.
